Upkeepr Version 1.8 Release Notes
Date: Wednesday, 17 February 2021
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Notifications are here! Getting scheduled reminders is key to keeping up and staying on top of maintenance.
With Version 1.8, you’ll receive notifications in your email Inbox at the date and time you specify in your Upkeepr settings. Simply set the notification type, frequency, and channel for each account and you’re all set.
- Email notifications
Now, you can get reminders of what’s due and what’s coming up next, for each account, direct to your inbox. And, jump right to Upkeepr with the See Details button.
Configure notifications for each account in the new Notifications tab in Settings. It’s easy to add new notifications using the Plus icon on the right of the screen.
Set notifications for either Activities Due or for Upcoming Activities. In this example, daily notifications for Activities Due in the Personal Account will be received at 5:30 a.m. at the email address specified. Weekly notifications of Upcoming Activities will be received at the same address at 7:00 p.m. on Sundays for the Work Account.
To change notification settings, simply go to the drop-down menu in the upper right, select the Settings option, and you’ll see the new Notifications icon (the bell) at the bottom of the vertical menu bar on the left.
After selecting the Notifications icon, choose the account and click on the plus button to add a new notification. You’ll be prompted to select the notification type, the frequency, the delivery time, and the channel. At this time, the only channel for notifications is email, so enter the email address to which the notification should be delivered.
Various minor bugs have been fixed to ensure that your user experience remains enjoyable and reliable. Some screen refresh issues were resolved and modifications were made to improve scrolling on mobile devices.
- Download the Upkeepr App
You’ll soon be able to go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download and install Upkeepr directly on your device instead of in a browser. Get the power of Upkeepr in the palm of your hand!
- More notification channels
Soon you’ll be able to receive reminders via SMS messaging or via assistants, like Alexa. Email is great for a list of activities, but individual messages are so helpful if you need a quick reminder about one or two items.
- Push notifications
Receive a reminder from Upkeepr about activities due, activities assigned to you, and invitations to join group accounts with mobile device alerts.
- Upkeepr for Business
Upkeepr will soon be available for small businesses to manage customer activities and visits to customer sites! Track the status of all maintenance activities for each customer, activity assignments, and notify members of the group, including customers. Stay tuned!
